We know what you students are like so we know that you probably haven’t started your Christmas shopping yet. If you’re new to the city this year you might not be unaware of what great shopping opportunities Coventry and the surrounding places have to offer. If you have decided that now is the time to venture from your student accommodation Coventry and do your shopping we would like to help you!
Coventry itself is full of shopping opportunities with the large west orchards shopping centre, lower and upper precinct and cathedral lanes in the city centre and all the adjoining roads full of shops to do your Christmas present hunting. There is also the famous large Coventry market where you could pick up some bargains.
Outside of the city centre we have several large retail parks, notably Gallagher which has large Argos and Matalan stores amongst many others and Orchard retail park which comprises of a huge Currys and PC World megastore for the gadget fan in your life and a large halfords for the petrolheads.
If you want to venture further out of Coventry there are plenty of choices, the best probably being Birmingham. You can get there in under half an hour by train if you don't drive and you will surely find something for everyone. As well as the shops on the main streets, Birmingham is home to the Bullring, one of the busiest and most popular shopping centers in the UK. You will find all of your major stores in the Bullring including an Apple Store and one of only four Selrfridges stores in the country.
