Bathroom Resident
If you involved in a house rental Coventry or sharing student accommodation there are rooms which need to be shared and one which causes a lot of problems and source of arguments is definitely the bathroom.
This is the main room that at some point in the day everyone uses. We all have our own habits and ways of doing these and living away from home for the first time it can come as a shock that we not only have to share bathroom facilities, but we can no longer take long soaks in the bath if you still want to be spoken to afterwards. The hot water supply is something which landlords will have accounted for, but this needs to be shared and not consumed by one person because they had a hard day.
Using the shower and bath also requires those facilities to be cleaned on a regular basis. No-one wants to use a bath that has been left in a horrible state and if it always falls to one person, this can be a source of arguments.
Students that are sharing student accommodation Coventry can either create a sensible cleaning rota or give the shower /bath/sink a wipe down after use. Easier said than done when it is first thing in the morning and more important studies awaits.
Be honest with yourself and housemates when it comes to setting up the rota for cleaning. If you know you will not be able to clean on a certain time, day, or weekend then let everyone know. Don’t agree to anything if you know you will not be able to stick to it.
